1901-1995

1901 Club Established as Founder Members of the North Herts League.
1901-07 Played in the North Herts League – no data available.
1907 Joined the Herts County League Northern Division, whilst concurrently competing in the North Herts League.
1913 Left the Herts County League, competing only the North Herts League.
1910-48 Five times North Herts League Champions: 1910/11, 1924/25, 1925/26, 1930/31 & 1946/47.
1948 Rejoined the Herts County League in Division Two.
1952/53 Division Two Champions, gaining promotion to Division One.
1962/63 Normal league programme cancelled, an emergency competition ran instead; crowned Herts County League Division One ‘A’ Champions.
1964 Promoted to the Herts County League Premier Division.
1973/74 Herts County League Champions.
1976 Relegated to Division One.
1976/77 Division One Champions and Aubrey Cup Winners.Promoted to the Premier Division.
1983 Left the Herts County League and joined the South Midlands League, enjoying crowds of up to 600 people.
1988/89 Returned to the North Herts League in 1988 winning the Benevolent Shield and Greg Cup.
1989/90 North Herts League Premier Division Champions and Reserve Cup Winners.
1990 Rejoined the Herts Senior County League (Formerly Herts County League). Placed in Division Two.
1990/91 Gained promotion to Division One.
1991/92 Promoted to the Premier Division.
1995 The Club folded after losing its ground to development.

1999 to present

1999 Knebworth Football Club was reformed from an Under 18 side moving into Senior football, joining the Hertford & District Football League.
1999/2000 Promoted to Division One and finalists in the Division Two Cup.
2000/01 Division One Champions, with one draw and a loss in twenty-four league matches, and finalists in the Division One Cup.
2001/02 Finished Fourth in the Premier Division.
2002/03 Finished Third in the Premier Division. Reserve side added to the current set-up, joining the North Herts League in Division One (second division of a two-tier system) and finished Fourth.
2003/04 The Club rejoined the Herts Senior County League, finishing 8th from 16 in Senior Division One (second division of a two-tier system). Reserves finished 4th from 13 in Reserve Division Two (second division of a two-tier system), missing out on promotion on goal difference.
2004/05 Finished 6th from 14 in Senior Division One. Reserves finished 4th from 13 in Reserve Division Two.
2005/06 Finished 3rd from 14 in Senior Division One, gaining promotion to the Premier Division and reached the Semi Final stage of the Herts Intermediate Cup. Reserves finished 3rd from 13 in Reserve Division Two, gaining promotion to Reserve Division One.
2006/07 Finished 13th from 16 in the Premier Division. Reserves finished 9th from 13 in Reserve Division One.
2007/08 Finished 13th from 16 in the Premier Division. Reserves finished 6th from 13 in Reserve Division One.
2008/09 Finished 15th from 16 in the Premier Division, relegated to Division One. Reserves finished 13th from 13 in Reserve Division One, relegated to Division Two.
2009/10 Finished 11th from 16 in Senior Division One. Reserves finished 8th from 12 in Reserve Division Two.
2010/11 Finished 9th from 15 in Senior Division One. Reserves finished 5th from 10 in Reserve Division Two.
2011/12 Finished 3rd from 16 in Senior Division One, gaining promotion to the Premier Division. Reserves finished 3rd from 10 in Reserve Division Two, gaining promotion to Reserve Division One.
2012/13 Finished 15th from 16 in the Premier Division, reprieved from relegation. Reserves finished 12th from 12 in Reserve Division One. Reserve section regionalised for 2013/14 season.
2013/14 Finished 16th from 16 in the Premier Division, relegated to Division One. Reserves finished 7th from 11 in the South & West Reserve & Development Division.
